Newer neighborhoods, high expectations
Piper's subdivisions are some of the newest in the Kansas City, Kansas area, with wide front lawns, landscaped entries and neighbors who notice when a yard slips. Our crosshatch and straight-line stripe patterns make a front lawn stand out on the street, and the same crew comes on the same day every week so it stays that way.
Built on clay
Like most of western Wyandotte County, Piper yards sit on heavy clay that holds water after a storm and bakes hard in August. We skip mowing when the ground is saturated, because heavy equipment on wet clay leaves ruts that last all season. Through the summer heat we raise the deck so the grass shades its own roots.
More than mowing
Piper customers also have us trim shrubs in spring and fall, clear leaves in November and shovel or blow out driveways and sidewalks after snowstorms. One call covers the whole year.
