Lion’s HeartLawn Care

Edging and trimming: the clean lines that finish a lawn.

A mowed lawn with ragged edges still looks unfinished. We edge concrete and trim around every fence post, tree, mailbox and bed so the whole yard looks sharp, not just the open turf.

Edging is part of every mow

We don't sell edging as an add-on. On every visit we run an edger along the driveway, sidewalk and curb, so grass doesn't creep over the concrete and the line stays straight all season. Corner lots get both street sides done.

String trimming where the mower can't go

Fence lines, chain-link, posts, mailboxes, trees, landscape beds, retaining walls and AC units all get trimmed to match the height of the cut. A lot of yards around Leavenworth and Lansing have privacy fences with a strip of grass on both sides; we trim both when we can reach them.

Steep banks, ditches and pond edges

Road ditches, drainage swales and HOA pond banks are often too steep or soft for a mower. We trim those by hand so they don't turn into a hayfield halfway through summer.

Just need a one-time cleanup?

If your edges have grown over for a season or two, we can cut them back to the concrete in one visit and then keep them there on a regular route.

Common questions

Is edging extra?

No. Edging and string trimming are part of every regular mow.

Can you edge landscape beds too?

Yes. We touch up existing bed edges. If a bed needs to be re-cut from scratch, we'll quote that separately.

Do you trim along the outside of my fence?

When we can reach it safely and the neighbor's side is open, yes. Let us know about any gates or access we should use.
